HEY THERE TRAVELER! Are you ready to have an exciting adventure? We’re gonna explore the amazing United States of America. It’s the land of the free and the home of the brave! – a land of patriotism, presidents, pioneers and politics.
Have you seen pictures of the Grand Canyon, the White House, the Statue of Liberty or Mount Rushmore? We’re gonna explore it all. You’ll see fireworks, explore New York City, taste delicious food and help solve a mystery. Grab your Passport and let’s hit the road!
Welcome to the United States of America! This Adventure book will take you on a tour of all fifty states. Your kids will learn about the story behind the national anthem, and visit landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, the Liberty Bell and Pearl Harbour. They’ll read about the musicals at Broadway Theatre in Manhattan, the origin of Kentucky Fried Chicken, Johnny Appleseed, the steamboats of Mississippi, the 17 miles of hallways at the pentagon, and the largest shopping mall in America.
They’ll have a chance to study each state, study the maps and flags, meet a boy or girl who lives there, solve a Discovery Agent Clue Card and complete a fun activity or craft relating to that state.
You can use this book as a springboard for your students to delve into a study of the United States and its unique history. United States Adventure contains a variety of fun activities, as well as tons of information about the country. Your children will learn about the culture of the USA, their customs, currency, cuisine, animals, and people. There are jokes, conversation starters, and fun facts too!
You can go through this book at your own pace, either completing the states in order, or skipping around to your favorite ones.
United States Adventure is designed for your kids to read and work through over a year with sessions 1-2 times per week.

Hi! My name is Nathaniel, but you can call me Nate. My home state is New York and I live in Manhattan in New York City, the biggest city in the USA. Did you know the USA has had nine different capital cities since it was founded? Some have even been the capital more than once at different times! Washington DC has been the capital for the last two hundred years, so it’s unlikely it’ll change again!
The iconic stars and stripes is recognizable everywhere as the flag of the United States. Our national anthem, the Star-Spangled Banner, is also know worldwide as a song of patriotism and love of our country. Our national bird is the majestic bald eagle which has become a symbol of the freedom the United States stands for.
