Covrigi are Romanian baked dough that are similar to pretzels. They’re usually covered with sesame seeds or coarse salt, like pretzels.
Frigărui are a type of kebab common in Romania, made with marinated meat and vegetables like tomato and onion.
Papanasi are sweet fried donuts made with cheese in the dough. They’re eaten with sour cream and fruit.
Mititei are a type of grilled sausage made from beef and lamb. They have no casing like most sausages, as the meat is shaped by hand.
